The search by default will search our entire database of saddles people have put up for sale. If you just want to jump in and look at saddles all you have to do is hit submit.

You can also do this through the Quick Search on the home page by leaving Type and Brand as "Any" and clicking Next.

Right on the home page you will notice the ability to search any type and brand of saddle you may be looking for quickly.

Also in the Search For Saddles drop down, you will find Quick Searches. You can select from one of these quick searches to view saddles matching that search without going into the search tool.

Featured Saddles – This quick search will show you all featured saddles (Blue Ribbon). These saddles are our sellers most valued saddles.

New Saddles – These will show all the new saddles listed on My Saddle Trader

Used Saddles – These will show all the used saddles listed on My Saddle Trader

The first option you are presented with is if you are looking for a new or used saddle. Because used saddles have a variety of conditions, we have also created the search tool to allow you to select what condition you are looking for in a used saddle.

Saddle Type and Additional Options: ( back to top )

When you are selecting a type of saddle, we know that there are many unique options to a selected type. So we built into the search tools Additional Options that will show when you select a type of saddle. These additional options will help you further refine your search to find that very specific saddle you are looking for.

You can also hide the Additional Options if you would like. To show them again, all you need to do is click the type you have selected again and they will drop back down.

Every type of Saddle has its own Brands and Make of saddle that you may be looking for. We pride ourselves on having the biggest selection of brands and makes to search against. The search tools will automatically filter your options to match your type of saddle you are search for so you aren't selecting brands or makes that don't have any saddle of that type.

There is a difference between Sellers and Dealers. We know that you may want to purchase your saddle from one or the other.

Sellers – These are individuals looking to sell their saddle.

Dealers – Stores, Manufacturers, or Tack Shops looking to sell their saddles.

Not all saddles listed on our site will have photos. It is up to the seller to upload photos of the saddles they are selling. We also understand that you may not be interested in viewing saddle listings if you can't see the saddle so we made it very easy for you to filter out imageless ads.
